I read from one of those information books that this weekend is the first weekend of the Calla Lily Festival. I met up with William and Ariel and we went to Yamingshan together.
How To Get There
Take the MRT to Jiantan Station (on the red line) and then take bus no. R5. It’ll take you to Yamingshan. Once we got off the bus, there were several volunteers who helped us find the correct bus to Zhuzihu, where the calla lilies are.

Calla Lily Farm
After we got off the bus, we walked for probably 15 to 20 minutes to get to the calla lily area. There’s just fields and fields filled with calla lilies. At some of the fields, you can pick your own calla lilies to take home with you for a price. Ariel picked some for 10 NT per flower.
It rained on us a little, but it was beautiful. With the mountains in the background and a fog surrounding them, the area was very picturesque. I truly enjoyed walking around and enjoying the scenery and taking lots of pictures with the calla lilies.
Before the calla lily festival it was cherry blossom season. Sadly, we only saw a few that were left. Oh well, next time!
